Don't Believe Anything You Read Here!
    Walter White
    Printer-Friendly Format

Why are we telling you not to believe anything you read here and at the same time asking you to pay to do so?

Actually, while this would appear as somewhat of a disclaimer for the content in this site it is really a reality check for you. Small business is often based in faith - in an idea, a product, or a service. It is that belief and faith in the concept that causes us to go out and actually start the business.

For that reason, we sometimes don't always look at things as objectively as we could or should. I do know that we are most likely similar since we share the desire to create a company. And like you, I am always looking for information, advice, and products and services to help my business do better.

While I try to be objective, I am guilty of taking action based more on hope of success rather than paying attention to what my past experience has taught me. I am better about being objective in my thinking - partly because of a passage I read in book called the The Heart of Coaching by Thomas Crane. In the foreward of his book he wrote:

"Believe nothing that you read in this book. Rather, trust your own experience to validate the ideas and principles of human interaction offered here. If you choose to incorporate any of the practices described, pay attention to how your relationships are enriched and your results enhanced."

For me, this created a certain degree of credibility for his book. Instead of purporting himself to be an expert (which he most certainly was) and suggesting that I follow his ideas to success, he instead helped to remind me that learning and application is my responsibility. Instead of a top down approach to knowledge transfer his passage suggested it was a partnership in which we journeyed together.

Like you, we are committed to providing excellent service as personal assistants, personal concierges, and lifestyle managers. And like Thomas Crane, we suggest you apply your own experience to the ideas presented herein.
